Not one issued by CASE. However this publication has tremendous
applicability to other non-profits. I use it with and for many of the
non-profits I consult for. The only thing you would have to omit is the
reference to Alumni or parents possibly. I wholehearted support and suggest
the use of these standards for all non-profit organizations.

Is there a publication like this for non-profits that aren't schools?

The above opinions are those of the individual author and not necessarily of

I thought I would give you an update on the status of the revision to the
CASE Management Reporting Standards.
As mentioned last October, CASE does intend on issuing new reporting
standards this year, and will endeavor to issue revisions or replacements to
those standards every five years hereafter.
The Philanthropy Commission of CASE will be meeting this month and has, as
one of its key agenda items, the 2001 Management Reporting Standards. The
plan is for this commission to direct the creation of a task force to
formulate the new standards, with the objective being to have
recommendations floated in time for discussion at the CASE Annual Assembly
and the various Summer Institutes.
I appreciate the input many of you gave me several months ago, and urge all
of you to continue to pass along ideas or issues to be addressed in the new
standards as you think of them.
