Most foundations will not allow you to apply their gifts towards an
individual's pledge.  You should check first!

Can't help you with Blackbaud.  Sorry.  Our system does allow this sort of
thing when it's permissible . . .

Okay this may be a simple question.  We are currently using Blackbuad
version 6.  The problem that I am faced with is how to enter a gift that is
a pledge payment from a constituent but is given though a foundation. On
this version, if you put the gift under the foundation's record you can only
soft credit the indivdual.  It does not show up on their reflected  pledge
balance.  What is the proper way to go about giving credit and having it
reflect on the records.  Thanks.
